Swivel, a no-code AI-powered workflow automation platform for advertising operations and account management, has successfully raised $5.8 million in Series A funding. This funding round, led by Tribeca Venture Partners and Ardent Venture Partners, comes one year after the company’s seed round and coincides with its rebrand from PilotDesk to Swivel. The company aims to eliminate repetitive tasks in advertising operations and streamline the process with intelligent automation systems.

    • Swivel has raised $5.8 million in Series A funding, led by Tribeca Venture Partners and Ardent Venture Partners.
    • The raise is followed by a rebrand from PilotDesk to Swivel, marking a shift towards more intelligent and scalable automation systems.
  2. CEO Joseph Hirsch’s Vision:
    • “Our goal is to eliminate repetitive work in ad operations,” said CEO Joseph Hirsch.
    • Swivel aims to help ad tech players boost efficiency and performance, particularly for clients in connected TV (CTV) and advertising technology.

    • The round includes participation from new investors Tribeca Venture Partners and Motley Fool Ventures, as well as existing investors Roster Capital and AperiamVentures.
    • Investors are backing Swivel due to its ability to solve clear operational problems without disrupting existing systems.

    • Swivel’s platform has already demonstrated significant efficiency gains, such as automating over half a million actions for LG Ad Solutions, saving 25,000 hours of manual ad operations.
  5. Plans for Growth:
    • The funding will support team expansion and accelerate the development of advanced AI-driven orchestration and integrations with major ad platforms such as DSPs, SSPs, and OMS.

    • Co-founded by industry veterans from SpringServe, Swivel’s leadership brings deep ad tech expertise and a history of building scalable solutions.
