NYF Advertising Awards 2025 Shortlist Celebrates Global Creative Innovation

The New York Festivals (NYF) Advertising Awards has revealed its 2025 Shortlist, spotlighting visionary campaigns from over 40 countries that exemplify bold thinking, immersive storytelling, and cutting-edge innovation. Curated by an international panel of award-winning creative leaders, the shortlisted entries represent the vanguard of global advertising excellence.

Celebrating Strategy, Innovation & Emotional Impact

This year’s entries — submitted by leading agencies, PR firms, production houses, and global brands — were evaluated for their creativity, strategic insight, and resonance with modern consumers. The standout work moving forward melds emerging technologies with emotional storytelling, forging deeper connections with audiences across platforms and cultures.

From immersive brand experiences to campaigns championing social and environmental change, the 2025 Shortlist highlights the evolution of advertising into a multidimensional storytelling arena.

Top Performing Countries & Creative Powerhouses

Germany leads this year’s rankings, followed by the United States, Canada, and South Korea. Other strong contributors include Japan, Spain, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, China, Australia, the Philippines, and the Slovak Republic.

Shortlisted brands include:

  • Dove, Nike, IKEA, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Mastercard, Google Chrome
  • PlayStation, Burger King, NFL, McDonald’s, KitKat, Hyundai
  • OREO, Volvo, KFC Thailand, PETA, Maybelline New York, Xbox
  • And many more spanning categories from tech to automotive, lifestyle to CPG

Each campaign showcases creative risk-taking, cross-cultural fluency, and a sharp understanding of what drives modern engagement.

What’s Next: The Executive Jury Sessions

All shortlisted entries now proceed to the Executive Jury, led by Jury President Javier Campopiano, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer at McCann Worldgroup. This elite, face-to-face panel will finalize the winners across categories including Best of Show, Grand Awards, and the coveted Gold, Silver, and Bronze honors.

Winners will be announced on Thursday, June 12.
