JWP Connatix Appoints Chris Maccaro as CRO to Accelerate Global Video Monetization Growth

Fresh off a high-profile merger, JWP Connatix is bringing in a seasoned adtech executive to scale its next chapter.
The newly unified video platform announced the appointment of Chris Maccaro as Chief Revenue Officer, tasking him with leading global revenue strategy and monetization across its expansive video technology suite.

The move follows the merger of JW Player and Connatix, which created a consolidated platform for broadcasters, publishers, and advertisers to manage, distribute, and monetize video at scale. With this integration complete, Maccaro’s arrival signals JWP Connatix’s intention to accelerate growth and deepen its footprint in the booming digital and connected TV markets.

“Chris’ experience driving revenue, especially from the CEO chair at a CTV-focused platform, will be invaluable as we scale,” said John Nardone, CEO of JWP Connatix. “We’re also lucky to continue benefiting from Jenn Chen’s leadership in her new advisory role.”

A CRO with CEO Credentials

Maccaro isn’t your typical CRO. He most recently served as CEO of Beachfront Media, where he transformed the company into a leading programmatic video platform for connected TV (CTV) and successfully oversaw its acquisition in 2024. With over 20 years in digital media and adtech, Maccaro brings a rare combination of go-to-market depth, operational savvy, and M&A experience.

His background in CTV and programmatic gives JWP Connatix an edge as advertisers and publishers seek more unified, scalable, and data-compliant solutions.
